About Her
I have been told by a friend that I should do a one-minute TV add and NOT a freaking documentary. So - I do apologise for the lengthy documentary.......
Who am I? A DNA combination that originally emigrated a few 100 years ago from France, Belgium, England, Holland and who knows where else the sperms have travelled.
I am different and unique, an ordinary person with an extraordinary story, but then again, we all have extraordinary stories. I am not different from others in a negative sense, but my life has always been different from any other story I know. I was brought up on a Karoo farm and between extreme droughts and the sound of rain on a zinc roof, I started my life. I am intelligent and have common sense. I love knowledge and to study various topics. I have tried to understand different religions and through my travels gained wonderful information about it, but for me it is about spiritual truth and not any dogmatic approach thereof.
Kind, friendly, intelligent, honest, fair-minded, down-to-earth, independent, easy-going, healthy, creative, confident, wide variety of interest, booklover, friends from all walks and ages of life, am an open book and easy to read, deep thinker, love to travel, have great compassion for people and above all, I think I am a very privileged woman and has no reason to complain about anything.
I don’t smoke and can’t stand smoking. I drink socially. I enjoy (good) wine and occasionally a whisky but have never been drunk.
My heroes are Jack Penn, Nikola Tesla, Frieda Kahlo, Romeo Dallaire and my dad.
I am a friendly person and smile easily. I think to catch someone’s eye and smile spontaneously is still the most valued smile.
About Her Ideal Match
I am looking for a man who will love me for who I am, who will support me in my dreams, who will be proud of me, with whom I can show my vulnerability without regret, with whom I can explore my undiscovered emotions, who will encourage me to do my best and with whom I can debate any topic comes to mind. He is someone that wants the same from me.
He does not have to be Mr. Perfect, but he will be perfect for me if he is intelligent, kind, open-minded, love to travel, positive outlook, unpretentious, an original, love for life and nature, compassion for people, strength of character, knows his weaknesses and a man who tries to understand his soul. He must be comfortable to dine with the kings and also with the nomads in the desert. He must not be manipulative, jealous, degrading or a racist.
To love someone is a composition of many beautiful components and because of our characters, some are stronger than others. For me an ideal relationship is one where I am myself and he himself, but we form a complementariness unit where we can grow or simply be together, even if we disagree from one another or being wrong. Love has no rules, and it is wonderful if the boundaries are automatically set by inner beliefs.
I am planning to swim the Midmar Mile in 2026 and I am looking for a swimming partner (or serious support). Also, I am doing a trip to Europe, Canada and USA at the end of the year, and it will be amazing to have a travel partner, even if it will be only for a part of the trip….
